Overview of
Course
The study of theatre,
including history, stage structure, methods of acting, improvisation,
script writing, and the evaluation of the effectiveness of selected stage,
film and television performances.

Converting various
comic strips/short stories into scripts
Analyzing
literary elements (plot, theme, characterization, symbolism, etc.) of selected
musicals
Creating student
conceived original scripts
Working in
groups to create a mock news team reporting on news, weather, sports and
man on the street interviews
Creation of
original three-dimensional characters complete with history, ambitions,
flaws and quirks.
