There will be another competition for the logo for the 2nd annual Chapa 5K Challenge. The winner gets a $50 check and free entrance into the 5K for their entire family. The contest is open to current Chapa students only.

Chapa 5K Challenge

The 2nd Annual Chapa 5K Challenge is an      initiative to promote lifelong fitness for school age children and their families. All proceeds go back to the students at Chapa Middle School for after school fitness programs. The course is set to be certified this fall. You can expect some hills for a bit of a challenge.

5K Race Fees:

Elementary Students $5 before March 17th, $10 after

Middle and High School Students $10 before March 17th, $15 after

18 and over $15 before March 17th, $20 after 

Family 1K: FREE! This course is around the track and geared for those little tykes

Divisions: Elementary, Middle School, High School, 18-30, 31-45, 46-55, 56-65, 66+

Awards will be given in each category as well as the school with the most participants. Chapa Middle School will not be eligible to receive this award.

A student designed t-shirt will be given to all paid race participants
