Whitney Self

This is my 8th year teaching in Hays CISD. I started my teaching career at Wallace teaching PE and coaching 7th grade volleyball, basketball, track, and soccer. When Wallace combined with 8th grade I began teaching health. When Lehman opened I went there to teach health and coach 8th grade volleyball, basketball, soccer and I was the Varsity Assistant for girls soccer. I then transferred to Chapa where I currently teach health, career explorations, and PE.

 

Bio:
I grew up in  Lubbock, TX and San Antonio, TX. I am currently living in  Austin, TX.
I graduated from MacArthur High School in San Antonio where I was in the band and ran track. I then attended and graduated from Southwest Texas State University where I was in the “Most Dangerous Band in the South, your Southwest Texas State University Bobcat Marching Band” I am currently pursuing my masters degree in Health Education from Texas State University.
My hobbies are: exercising, traveling, watching movies, listening to music, spending time with friends and family.

Animals: Dog (Rylie) he is my little baby boy.

I love to travel and go to the beach!!!!
