Mission:
To provide
a wide variety of services and resources that
allow students to develop lifelong literacy skills and a love of
reading.
The TES
Library will have several motivational reading
programs throughout the school year.
Here are just some of the
programs we encourage students to join!
Bluebonnet Reading '07-'08:
Each year Texas
librarians vote for 20 outstanding selections for
students in 3rd-5th grades. Students
have the opportunity to read these books, and help choose the
Bluebonnet State Award Winner. You must read 5 books to vote, read 10
or more and the library will award a special prize! For more

Mockingbird
Books : Each
year Abilene librarians vote
for 20 outstanding selections for students in 1st - 2nd grades. Students
have the opportunity to read these books with their classmates and vote
for a winner! You must read 10 books to vote for your favorite
Mockingbird. For this
