Library Policies
Mission:
To
provide
a wide variety of services and resources that
allow students to develop lifelong literacy skills and a love of
reading.
Our
Library supports the Library Bill of Rights.
Students may visit the library with their classes
or anytime
during school hours when a teacher sends them on a library pass.
Students in lower grades may check out two books,
while older students may have 3 books.
Kindergarten students may borrow one book at a
time for the
Fall semester and two books in the Spring.
Students may keep books for 2 weeks and recheck them once.
If parents are interested in checking out books they may sign up for a
library card! Please come by!
Magazines and Reference books are available for overnight checkout.
The library has computers dedicated to student use for research
or access to our Library Catalog system.
All patrons must comply with district technology
standards and rules for responsible use.
We
ask that all library patrons assume responsibility for
lost or damaged
items, and pay
the current replacement amount of the item.
