Skill Set Details
Proj. 1: Spreadsheet Edit a Spreadsheet, format labels and appearance of a graph
Proj. 2: Spreadsheet Create and format a spreadsheet using formulas.
Technical Writing (optional) Use Powerpoint, Word, or Publisher and the equation editor to explain how to solve a mathematic equation.

 

 

7th Grade                                                                         To 7th Integrated Lessons

Skill Set Details
Proj. 1: Spreadsheet Create formulas to calculate Mean, then use built-in formulas to calculate Mean, Median, and Mode
Proj. 2: Spreadsheet Create Bar and Line Graphs. Format scale, text, borders, and shading.
Proj. 3: Virtual Environments Use online or network virtual environments to practice Math skills (Sleek IT, My Satori, TMDS, virtual manipulatives, Geometers Sketchpad)

Project 1: Spreadsheet and Database
  • Use database terminology: Field, Record, Data
  • Layout a spreadsheet with fields, format fields (text, number, date, boolean)
  • Use Sort function to arrange and view data
  • Analyze Data collected
